A wedding ceremony should feel unmistakably like the couple at its heart. Not a template, not a collection of borrowed words, but a genuine reflection of two people, their story and the life they are choosing to build together.

As an independent celebrant based in Somerset, I create bespoke wedding and vow renewal ceremonies across the South West and beyond. Every ceremony begins with conversation. By taking the time to truly get to know each couple, I create ceremonies that capture their personalities, values, humour and relationship, ensuring the words spoken on the day feel authentic, natural and meaningful.

While words are at the heart of what I do, I believe the most memorable ceremonies are about more than a script. They are about creating moments. Moments of laughter, reflection, connection and joy. Moments that bring families together and allow couples to pause and appreciate the significance of the promises they are making.

For couples looking to add an extra layer of meaning to their ceremony, I can incorporate a variety of symbolic elements, including handfasting, ring warming, unity candles, sand ceremonies, family blending rituals, memory tributes and other bespoke symbolic acts that reflect individual beliefs, traditions and values. Rather than simply including these elements for tradition's sake, I work closely with couples to ensure they feel purposeful and genuinely connected to their story.
