How much does a celebrant cost?
Celebrants set their own fees. This page analyses the starting prices supplied on live Ceremony Master profiles, so the figures come from directory evidence rather than invented estimates or booking quotes.

The dataset is still growing
We publish a headline price only after at least 10 independent profiles provide one. This prevents a small or unusual sample being presented as a UK benchmark.

What changes the price?
Ceremony type, preparation time, travel, rehearsal attendance, venue logistics and the amount of writing involved can all change a final quote. A starting price is useful for comparison, but it is not a promise of availability or the final fee for your ceremony.
How we calculate these figures
We use one minimum published starting price per live, non-demo profile for the headline figure. Ceremony tables use that ceremony's stated starting price. We show a section only when at least three profiles contribute and publish the sample beside every number. Profiles without prices are not treated as zero.
How to compare celebrants
Compare what the fee includes as well as the number: meetings, writing, revisions, rehearsal, travel and ceremony-day time. Read the profile, ask for a written quote, and confirm the booking directly with the celebrant. Ceremony Master does not add a booking commission.
