About
After 10 years as a Sessional Registrar for an Inner London local authority, I felt the time was right to use my knowledge and skills to help people celebrate other important milestones in their lives. I now bring the same dedication and attention to detail to weddings, Celebrations of Life and tributes, naming ceremonies, and citizenship celebrations.
Many people feel apprehensive about funerals or Celebrations of Life, just as I did when I first began this journey. Yet I have come to find this one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It is an honour to support people through a time of loss. I am always heartened by the happiness and warmth that emerge as family and friends share treasured memories, and by the comfort they find when they read the first draft of the ceremony. I include as much of what they tell me as possible, ensuring that the ceremony pays tribute to the life lived rather than focusing on the loss.
I love creating wedding ceremonies that feel personal while retaining a sense of formality. My aim is for guests to leave knowing that the ceremony reflected the couple’s unique relationship and that it was not simply another wedding. It is wonderful to see knowing smiles as familiar stories unfold, or to hear laughter at the mishap from a first holiday or the depth of affection shared for a beloved pet goldfish. Above all, I want the ceremony to be as memorable as every other part of the day.
