Hi, I’m Stephanie, the celebrant behind Pinky Promise Ceremonies.

I create fun, relaxed and completely personal wedding ceremonies and vow renewals for couples who want their day to feel like them – not something copied from a script or full of formal words they’d never normally say.

Before becoming a celebrant, I worked as a wedding planner, so weddings have always been a huge love of mine. Now I get to concentrate on my favourite part – telling your story and creating a ceremony that has your guests laughing one minute and reaching for the tissues the next!

Every ceremony I write is completely bespoke. I’ll get to know you both, find out how you met, the little things you love (and lovingly tolerate!) about each other, the people who matter to you and all those stories and moments that have made you you.

Want to write your own vows but have no idea where to start? I’ll help. Want to include handfasting, ring warming or another symbolic element? Absolutely. Want something a little different? Even better. I have a particular soft spot for surprise weddings and ceremonies that throw the traditional rulebook out of the window.

You’ll see your ceremony beforehand and can make as many changes as you like until you’re 100% happy with it. I only book one wedding per day, so on your day, you have me completely.

I’m based in Bingley, West Yorkshire, but I’m very happy to travel to wherever your celebrations take me. I’ll even coordinate my outfit with your wedding colours so I fit beautifully into your day and your photos.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable with me. I’ll be there to calm the nerves, have a laugh with you and make sure that when you look around at everyone you love, your ceremony feels exactly right.
