Hi. I’m Steve. I offer the very best in modern celebrancy, and I always go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you want and deserve on your special day.
I’ve been a professional celebrant for around eight years now, and I’ve done a whole lot of ceremonies. Every couple is different so every celebration has to start from a blank piece of paper and the unrivalled knowledge and experience I’ve built up. I take time to really understand you. Not just the words, but the whole ceremony. Some people may want a handfasting or a sand ceremony - but what colours will you use? Others may want a “fusion” ceremony which pays attention to different cultural backgrounds. I have the skills to write and deliver something which really gets ‘you’.
My ceremonies can have as much or as little god as you like - from a genuinely powerful Pagan celebration to a completely Atheist one. Most of my clients want something spiritual but not explicitly religious.
I also offer (at additional cost) a “themed and costumed” experience where I take your favourite obsession and design a ceremony around that. Everything and almost everything from history, film and TV, fashion or whatever floats your boat. I can write new material in the style or adapt scripts. I can even arrange a fully armoured tournament joust given enough time and budget!
It starts with a free, no- obligation meeting. I prefer in person, but online works if that is more difficult, and I only ever take one booking per day so you’re not on the clock if someone is fashionably late.
The only thing I can’t do is marry someone legally. No celebrant can at the moment, though we re working to change the law. There are ways to be legally married in a minimalist Registry Office and then have the celebration you actually want for your family and friends later.
