I'm Steve Pritchard-Jones, an award-winning independent civil celebrant with four years of experience creating personal, meaningful and memorable ceremonies across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and beyond.

As a former headteacher with over 30 years in education, I'm certainly no stranger to standing in front of an audience! I bring confidence, warmth, compassion, professionalism and a healthy sense of humour to every occasion.

I specialise in weddings, vow renewals, funerals, celebrations of life, naming ceremonies and the interment or scattering of ashes.

My philosophy is simple: Your ceremony, your way!

What's my approach?

Friendly, relaxed and personal, with plenty of warmth and a little light-hearted humour where appropriate!

I believe ceremonies should be meaningful and memorable without being overly formal or stuffy. After all, even the most emotional occasions can include moments that bring a smile.

I take time to listen, understand people's stories and personalities, and create ceremonies that genuinely reflect their wishes.

Whether it's a wedding filled with laughter or a celebration of life featuring treasured memories, every ceremony should feel natural, personal and memorable.

What makes my ceremonies different?

With over 30 years in education and four years as a busy, award-winning celebrant, I'm confident, organised, approachable and comfortable speaking before any audience.

But experience is only part of it!

I genuinely enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories and bringing those stories to life with warmth, personality and gentle humour.

I don't believe in taking scripts off the shelf. Every ceremony is individually written, thoughtfully prepared and personally delivered.

Throughout the process, I'll provide ideas, guidance and reassurance, making everything straightforward, enjoyable and as stress-free as possible.

And on the day itself? Simply relax, enjoy the occasion and leave the ceremony in my capable hands.
