Wedding Celebrants in Berkshire

Questions

What does a wedding celebrant do?

A wedding celebrant writes and leads the ceremony you want, using your vows, readings and stories rather than a set script.

Can a celebrant legally marry you?

In England and Wales a celebrant ceremony is not the legal marriage. Couples usually complete the legal register-office (or licensed venue) appointment separately, then hold the celebrant-led ceremony where they like.

How do I choose a wedding celebrant?

Read the biography as if you were hiring a writer. Check that they cover your venue, whether they publish a starting price, and whether reviews describe the kind of ceremony you want. Then enquire. The celebrant replies directly.
