About
Helo, Catrin ydw i – celebrant annibynnol, siaradwr Cymraeg iaith gyntaf ac wyneb Dathlu.
Rwy’n credu y dylai pob seremoni deimlo’n gwbl unigryw i’r bobl sydd wrth ei chalon. Boed yn briodas, adnewyddu addunedau neu’n seremoni i ddathlu bywyd rhywun annwyl, fy nod yw creu achlysur sy’n gynnes, personol, ystyrlon ac, lle bo’n briodol, yn llawn hiwmor.
Gyda chefndir mewn addysg, adrodd straeon a gweithio gyda phobl o bob oed a chefndir, rwyf wrth fy modd yn dod i adnabod pobl, gwrando ar eu straeon a throi’r manylion bach hynny’n seremoni sy’n teimlo’n wirioneddol nhw.
Rwy’n cynnig seremonïau yn Gymraeg, Saesneg neu’n ddwyieithog, ac rwy’n arbennig o angerddol am greu seremonïau dwyieithog sy’n llifo’n naturiol ac yn sicrhau bod pawb yn teimlo’n rhan o’r achlysur.
I mi, nid templed yw seremoni. Eich stori chi ydy hi – a braint yw cael eich helpu i’w hadrodd.
Hello, I’m Catrin – an independent celebrant, native Welsh speaker and the face behind Dathlu.
I believe every ceremony should feel completely unique to the people at its heart. Whether I’m creating a wedding, vow renewal or a ceremony celebrating the life of someone special, my aim is to make it warm, personal, meaningful and, whenever appropriate, full of humour.
With a background in education, storytelling and working with people from all walks of life, I love getting to know people, hearing their stories and discovering the little details that make them who they are. I then weave those moments together to create a ceremony that genuinely feels like you.
I conduct ceremonies in Welsh, English or bilingually, and I’m particularly passionate about creating bilingual ceremonies that flow naturally, allowing everyone present to feel included in the moment.
For me, a ceremony should never feel like a template. It’s your story, told your way – and it’s a privilege to help you tell it.
